“The Word of God is like a lion. You don’t have to defend a lion. All you have to do is let the lion loose, and the lion will defend itself.”- Charles Spurgeon
HEB 4:12 NIV For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
JER 23:29 NIV “Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?”
What to do
Is the Word alive in you? Then:
- Let it loose and it will defend Itself.
- Let it remain alive and active and it will penetrate the greatest strongholds and judge the hardest of hearts.
- Let it continue to burn and it will destroy every invention or contrivance against God’s will.
